This Privacy Policy explains how Ariano Team ("Ariano Team", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Ariano mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App" or "Services").
The App is intended for users aged 17 and older (17+). If you are under 17, do not use the App.

- Photos you upload for event covers are used to provide the feature. We do not perform face recognition or biometric identification.

- We do not sell your personal information.
- We may share information only in limited circumstances (with your consent, with service providers under contract, for legal reasons, or to protect rights), and only to the minimum extent necessary.
- You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent by email; we aim to respond within 5 business days.
2) Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Account information: name, username, email address.
- Customer support content: information you provide when you contact us (including messages and attachments you choose to send).
- Event content you create: event titles, descriptions, tags, time, location, contact links, and other details you choose to add.
- Custom cover images and photos: images you choose to add to make events visually engaging. By default, photos you select remain stored locally on your device; if you choose to upload a cover image for syncing/publishing, it will be uploaded.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system version, language, timezone, identifiers (as allowed by your device settings), and network information.
- Usage data and analytics: in-app interactions, feature usage, and performance metrics.
- Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports and related technical data to help us fix bugs and improve reliability.
- Location information (only if you allow): approximate or precise location based on your device permissions.
2.3 Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies (and similar technologies such as local storage) for login and to remember preferences. Where applicable (for web-based surfaces), we may also use web beacons or similar technologies to measure performance and improve the Services.
3) How We Use Your Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Services (including account creation, event creation, calendar views, and conflict detection).
- To personalize your experience (e.g., preferences and settings).
- To improve and develop the Services (including analytics, troubleshooting, and performance improvements).
- To secure the Services and prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse.
- To communicate with you (service updates, security notices, and responding to support requests).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
4) Optional AI‑Assisted Features (If Available)
Ariano may offer optional AI-assisted features, such as generating or enhancing text or images related to event content.
- Your control: You decide whether to use these features and whether to upload any text or images for processing.
- Processing location: If you choose to use AI-assisted features, any text or images you submit are processed on Ariano Team's own servers.
- No third-party sharing: We do not share AI inputs or outputs with any third parties for AI processing.
- Deletion: AI inputs and generated outputs are deleted from our servers immediately after processing is completed, except where temporary retention is required for delivery to you (e.g., transmission retries). If retained temporarily for delivery, it is kept only as long as necessary.
- No training/marketing: We do not use your submitted photos/text or AI outputs to train models or for marketing.
5) Photos, Face Data, and Biometrics
- We do not perform face recognition and we do not use your photos for biometric identification.
- We do not collect or store biometric templates.
- By default, photos you select remain stored locally on your device.
- If you choose to upload a photo (e.g., as an event cover image for syncing or publishing), it is used only to provide the feature you requested and is stored only for as long as needed for that purpose (for example, until you delete the image/event or delete your account, subject to Section 8).
- If you submit a photo or text only for one-time AI-assisted processing, it is deleted immediately after processing is completed as described in Section 4.
- We do not use your photos for training or marketing.
7) International Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms to protect your information.
8) Data Retention
We retain information as follows, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law:
- Account data: for as long as your account is active.
- After account deletion: we delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
- Customer support records: up to 6 months.
You can request deletion sooner in certain cases; we will honor valid requests subject to legal obligations and legitimate interests (e.g., security and fraud prevention).
9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit and, where appropriate, encryption at rest.
- Access controls and least-privilege practices.
- Regular audits and monitoring.
- Backups and recovery procedures.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
10) Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:
- Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion: request deletion of personal information.
- Restriction/objection: request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
- Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Location permissions: You can enable/disable location sharing in your device settings at any time.
11) Children
The Services are intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child under 17 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective Date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App.
